I was a frequent student with Dr. Pope for my major and traveled to Paris and Chicago with her to study art. Her passion for art was an enjoyable experience. She also said that "Art history is like an intricate puzzle. As art historians, we always keep trying to find the pieces that are connected." I was brought up in the car industry by my dad and was required to work in the dealership each summer. I worked as a mechanic's assistant during the summer months, performing oil changes and brakes.
